Bonspiels 2019-2020

2 Day Mixed Bonspiel : November 30 – December 1

This bonspiel is designed to be played by Mixed (2 men, 2 women) teams.  Two games are played on Saturday and 1 game on Sunday.  Each game is 8 ends.  Home entertainment, a Saturday night party, and plenty of great raffle prizes are also highlights of this event.  New this year:  FRIDAY NIGHT WELCOMING PARTY!

SWOSMBA Tier 55A Men’s : November 22

This bonspiel is part of the Southwest Ontario Senior Men’s Bonspiel Association

Open Rotation Spiel : January 18

This is a unique format.  Played with Open (4 players of any gender) teams, each team plays one end against each of the other 7 teams.  Cards are awarded based on the result of the end and teams try to make the best 5-card Poker hand.  Two rounds (14 ends total) are played.

Tier 55B Men’s : January 31

This bonspiel is part of the Southwest Ontario Senior Men’s Bonspiel Association.

1.5 Day Mixed Bonspiel : February 7 – 8

This bonspiel is designed to be played by Mixed (at least one person of each gender) teams.  Usually, one game are played on Friday evening and up to three games on Saturday.  All games are 6 ends.  Friday evening snacks, Saturday lunch and supper are all part of this event.

Men’s Spiel : February 22

This recreational Men’s bonspiel is played with 4 players per team.  Three 6-end games, along with lunch, supper, and beer tastings are all part of this event.
